Thank you for participating in the closed beta testing of FieldMentor AI, developed by Ocanom Ltd (“the Company”, “We”, “Us”). This agreement sets out the terms under which you may access and use the pre-release version of the App as a beta tester.
By accepting an invitation to join the closed testing programme, you agree to be bound by this policy.
1. Who This Applies To
This policy applies to all individuals who have been invited to test FieldMentor AI via the Google Play closed testing programme. Access is by invitation only and is granted at Our sole discretion.
2. Purpose of Beta Testing
The purpose of closed testing is to:
- Identify technical bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Gather feedback on usability and feature functionality
- Test AI response quality across real HVAC and gas engineering scenarios
- Evaluate voice and video diagnosis features in real field conditions
3. Confidentiality
The beta version of FieldMentor AI contains pre-release, confidential features that are not yet publicly available.
As a beta tester, you agree to:
- Keep all features, functionality, design, and content of the beta App strictly confidential
- Not share screenshots, screen recordings, or descriptions of the App on social media, forums, or with third parties
- Not discuss unreleased features publicly until they have been officially announced by Ocanom Ltd
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
4. Data Collected During Testing
During the beta testing period, the App collects the same categories of data described in our Privacy Policy, including:
- Account and authentication data
- Text, voice, and video interactions with the AI assistant
- Usage patterns and session data
- Crash reports and diagnostic logs
Additional testing data we may also collect:
- Bug reports and feedback you submit through the App or via email
- Performance metrics specific to the testing environment
- Device model and OS version for compatibility testing
All data collected during beta testing is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
5. Your Responsibilities as a Tester
You agree to:
- Use the App in good faith for its intended purpose (HVAC and gas heating assistance)
- Report bugs and issues promptly via the feedback mechanism in the App or by emailing testing@fieldmentor.ai
- Provide honest and constructive feedback to help us improve the product
- Not attempt to misuse or stress-test the App in ways that could harm other users or the backend infrastructure
- Not share your invitation link or tester access with any third party
- Notify us immediately if you discover any security vulnerability at office@fieldmentor.ai
6. No Warranty
The beta App is provided “as is” and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. We make no warranties regarding the performance, reliability, or fitness of the beta App for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
We are not liable for any data loss, device issues, or other harm arising from your use of the beta App.
7. Feedback Licence
Any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports you submit to Us during the testing period may be used by Us without restriction, compensation, or attribution to improve the App and our services. You grant Ocanom Ltd a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use any such feedback.
8. Duration and Termination
Your access to the beta programme:
- Begins when you accept your invitation and install the App
- Continues for the duration of the closed testing period, as communicated by Us
- May be revoked by Us at any time without notice, including if you breach this agreement
When the testing period ends, you may be invited to continue using the App through the public release, or your access may expire. We will notify you in advance of any changes.
9. Uninstallation
At the end of the testing period, if requested by Us, you agree to uninstall the beta App from your device. Any locally stored data will be deleted upon uninstallation.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

AI Guidance Disclaimer
The FieldMentor service includes AI-generated guidance, diagnostic suggestions, and repair procedures powered by large multimodal models.
IMPORTANT: The AI guidance provided by FieldMentor is for informational purposes only and is NOT a substitute for certified professional judgment or compliance with local codes and safety standards. You acknowledge that AI technology can make mistakes, hallucinate information, or provide inaccurate diagnostic steps.
By using FieldMentor, you agree that:
- You are solely responsible for all actions taken based on AI guidance.
- You will independently verify all diagnostic suggestions, fault codes, and repair procedures using official manufacturer documentation.
- You will always adhere to appropriate safety standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA for refrigerants) and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- FieldMentor, its affiliates, and its creators assume absolutely no liability for property damage, personal injury, code violations, or financial loss resulting from reliance on the AI coaching feature or the knowledge base.
If you are not comfortable assessing the risks independently, do not use the AI features of this app.

The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. Termination

Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of this Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service or 100 USD if You haven’t purchased anything through the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, for business interruption, for personal injury, loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, third-party software and/or third-party hardware used with the Service, or otherwise in connection with any provision of this Terms), even if the Company or any supplier has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose.
